The upgraded Advanced Photon Source (APS) will provide X-ray beams with greatly enhanced brightness and coherence. To take full advantage of these new properties, seven new beamlines are under construction as part of the APS Upgrade Project. (Critical infrastructure for two more feature beamlines is also being installed.) Each new beamline has been optimized for particular techniques across various disciplines and together they will offer a suite of new capabilities for the world scientific community.
