XAFS School | |
The APS XAFS School covers advanced topics in the analysis of XAFS data. The three-day program includes classroom lectures and hands-on advanced data analysis with Artemis and Ifeffit. The course is aimed at scientists with some experience in XAFS analysis and modeling. |

A variety of short courses, workshops and tutorials are offered at the respective meetings. |

National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering | |
The National Neutron and X-ray Scattering School is held each summer at both Argonne and Oak Ridge National Labs to educate students on use of National facilities. Lectures include basic tutorials and applications to research topics. Students also gain hands-on experience by conducting short experiments. Travel expenses are paid. Open to graduate students from North American universities who are mid-way in their thesis program; applications are quite competitive.
