Future LEA Experiments Workshop |

The last decade has seen great advances in free-electron lasers that became invaluable tools for scientific research. Extending FEL application into the industrial area is a new venue for the FEL development. Additional challenge is presented by a need for a high efficiency of the energy transfer from the electron beam to the radiation field. The Workshop will focus on discussing of recent ideas addressing this need and on development of plans for an experimental verification of Tapering Enhanced Stimulated Superradiant Amplification (TESSA) at short wavelengths using the APS injector linac and Linac Extension Area (LEA) beamline.
