What is ORCID?  ORCID is a nonprofit helping create a world in which all who participate in research, scholarship and innovation are uniquely identified and connected to their contributions and affiliations, across disciplines, borders, and time. ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognized.  This tool is currently used by 640 organizations around the globe including professional societies, publication houses, government agencies, universities, and national laboratories.

Anyone interested in learning more about ORCID and how it can be used is welcome to attend this meeting, so please feel free to extend this invitation to others.  Anyone wishing to have one-on-one meeting with Laurel should contact Susan White-DePace (Manager, APS User Program Office, Argonne National Laboratory),
